What the inspector actually does
| Measurement | Length, width, height, strap length and handle drop on 5 pieces, 5% tolerance. |

| Weight | 5 pieces against the approved sample weight — the fastest way to catch fabric substitution. |
| Zip cycle | 50 open/close cycles on 5 pieces; no splitting, no slider separation. |
| Liner leak | 1 litre of water in the insulated compartment for 10 minutes; no wicking through the outer. |
| Foam thickness | One sacrificial unit cut and measured — non-negotiable when you are paying for 15 mm. |
| Handle pull | 5 kg static load on each handle for 60 seconds plus a hand pull on strap anchors. |
| Print rub | 10 dry and 10 wet rubs with a white cloth; no transfer. |
| Carton drop | One full carton, 1 metre, one corner, three edges, one face. |
On failureThe supplier reworks or replaces at its own cost and
pays for a full re-inspection. The balance payment falls due only on a passed report, and the container is held pending
written release. We put that clause in our own POs.
