Who we are

This website is operated by Eggroll International Trade (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Room 495, Floor 4, Building 3, No.171 Meisheng Road, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China. What we collect, and why

Enquiry forms. When you submit an enquiry we store the name, email address, company, country, telephone or WhatsApp number, quantity, selected models and message that you provide, together with the page you submitted from, the referring page, your IP address and browser user-agent. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to manage the resulting commercial relationship. The legal basis, where the GDPR applies, is Article 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).

Newsletter. If you subscribe to the sourcing-guide email we store your email address until you unsubscribe. Consent is the legal basis, and every email contains an unsubscribe instruction.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party form services. The only data this site stores in your browser is your light/dark theme choice and your inquiry list, both in localStorage, both on your device, and neither is transmitted to us unless you submit the enquiry form.

Who sees your data

Enquiry data is stored on our own hosting account and is visible to our sales and management staff. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing. Where answering your enquiry requires it, the relevant details may be shared with a partner factory, a testing laboratory or a freight forwarder — limited to what is necessary for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for three years from the last contact, then deleted. Records connected to an actual order are kept for the period required by Chinese accounting and customs law.

International transfers

Our servers are operated by our hosting provider. If you are in the EEA or the UK, submitting an enquiry involves transferring your data to China. We rely on Article 49(1)(b) of the GDPR — the transfer is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Your rights

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or PIPL applies you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to danni.zhao@eggrollshoes.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
